Below is a screenshot of the main menu without any theme artwork or video.
The Main Menu consists of all your systems. You can enter any one of these systems by pressing the start key. When you leave the Main Menu you are then in a Sub-Menu. From the Sub Menu you can choose a game and launch it to play if you have the emulator setup properly.
HyperSpin uses a "Wheel" style interface. In the image above you see the wheel on the right. That is just the default wheel style, but there are several other wheel styles to choose. The wheel can have as many items in it as you want. You can have 1 item or thousands of items. All graphics in HyperSpin are external to the executable for maximum customization of the look of your interface. Your installation will come with some default graphics but feel free to switch out any graphic you like to get your own custom look.
One really great thing about HyperSpin is that each individual menu item can have its own theme. What some people dont know is that you can make HyperSpin just have one default theme for all menu items. There is a misconception out there that if you don't have a theme for each item then you're stuck with an ugly interface. We will dive more into individual themes and default themes later in the media section, just be aware for now that HyperSpin has a versatile skinning system for all types of users and all types of looks.
Here is example of a Sub-Menu theme.
