Sounds

There are many sounds in HyperSpin but mostly they can be broken up into two categories.  Interface sounds and system specific sounds.  Interface sounds are all the little whizes , whooshes, clicks and bangs that your here when moving through the interface, and system specific sounds are sounds that you can set for different systems on an indivdiual basis.

Most of the interface sounds can be found in:

Media/Frontend/Sounds

The sounds found in this folder have descriptive names so you can tell what they do.

System specific sounds can be found in:

Media/System Name/Sound

In the above sound folder you will see several other sound folders.

Background Music

The Background Music folder is where you can place mp3 files for specific games.  If you place an mp3 with the same name as a game it will play when you land on that game.  This will also mute out the currently playing video.  Background music and wheel images are the only parts of a game specific theme that do not extract from a themes zip file.

System Exit

When you exit a sub menu you can have a random sound play.  Just place some mp3 sounds in this folder for this option to work.  It doesnt matter how you name the sounds.

System Start

This is the same as the system exit sounds but these play when you enter a wheel.

Wheel Sounds

Wheel sounds are sounds you hear everytime you turn the wheel.

Normally this folder is empty and all sub menu's adopt the wheel sounds from the Main Menu wheel sounds folder, but if you want to you can override those wheel sounds. Simply place new sounds here. We have several packs of system specific sounds that you can download.
