Main Menu Program Launching

How do you launch a single PC game directly from the main menu?  It’s easy.  Just open up Hyper HQ and select the Main Menu Wizard tab.  Click on the plus sign to add a new item to the Main Menu.

Type the name of the game you want to load in the box as shown below and click ‘Next.’

When the next screen comes up, click on the lower button for ‘executable program’ (highlighted below).

On the next screen, scroll the menu to where to want to position your new game in the Main Menu and click the appropriate button.

HQ will ask for confirmation that you want to place your executable in the location you chose so click OK. 
Now that you’ve added the game, HQ will offer you another option for assistance.  At this point you can either set up your game using the Wheel Settings menu, or click ‘Continue with Wizard’ (shown below).

Click on the folder to the left of the Selection Box to choose your executable and then click ‘Continue.’  HQ will bring up a screen asking if you want to enter any additional parameters.  Once entered, click ‘Continue.’

After adding your executable and any additional parameters, HQ will provide one more selection screen.  Here you may choose to launch your game directly through HyperSpin or using the HyperLaunch program that adds escape keys and other functions.  Note: if you use HyperLaunch you will have to configure and compile it separately to work with your game.  Click Yes or No.

That’s it!  You’re done with the Main Menu Wizard.  You may now use the Wheel Settings to further customize your new addition to HyperSpin.
