Unable to get on hyperspin-fe.com

Recommended Posts

Currently using 4g to write this message. My internet is working fine but for the last few days I cannot get onto hyperspin or emu movies. The error I have been getting is "connection timed out". My provider is Virgin media.

Think it could be a DNS problem and have put a message on their forum and tried the Google DNS method but have had no joy.

Can anyone please help ?

You can set it to English to English, so you can use it as normal. It may be nothing mate tbh.

It I'd possible that the IP is banned, but I am sure the forum would inform you with a splash page.

It could be a DNS problem more than likely. Try to refresh it in CMD window mate. Takes 2secs

It's just annoying as I have lost 2 evening work as I cannot connect to anything hyperspin related like for example hyper sync so the software build is on hold . How will this get fixed ?

UPDATE*
Changed my virgin superhub to modem mode and eveything works fine. My IP is different because of this, so I would suggest Hyperspin Admin/Tech have blocked that IP for some reason ? could you get back to me with any information to fixing this issue as I dont want to use my router as modem for long.

Thanks

Nobody will get back to you unless you open a support ticket. There are so many posts on these forums - how do you expect the few mods that are here to see every single post?

Be patient. They'll get to you. It's not something a moderator can help with anyway - must be an admin. Besides, if your IP was banned on purpose you'd know about it, and your account wouldn't work either.

Silly boys,

I love reading the posts, you guys always say be patient, but when you are having the issue you are the opposite.  ;)     What happened to empathy in this world?  I would be upset if my connection just stopped working for no reason, just as anyone would be.    If I paid for plat membership and my IP was banned and I couldn't use the services I would be even more upset and really want answers.  I am sure someone will hide behind the idea that they didn't pay for a service but gave a donation, but really it is the exact same thing.   Gunit, I hope they figure it out for you, I would be furious myself

Welp being impatient isn't going to help anything, and may even ruffle a few feathers, trust me.

Like I said mate. Doubt it's forums. Clear all cache and reset dns mate. You should be good to go mate. Although it could take up to 24 hours if it's a bad hop. Glad some like to help around here :)

55 unique machine logins ...i wonder if that could do it...

sounds like the built in security filters are doing their job

lol what does that mean ? - im using 1 PC for my hyperspin build ? - I also own in the house an imac, ipad, iphone and xboxone ... lol - nothing close to 55 unique machine logins ? maybe a security error/fault ? let hope this gets resolved and does not happen to anyone else.

It means that you have signed into the forum on 55 unique devices. Normal is 5-10 total. It would suggest that you are sharing your account with another person

All working now, thanks.

In the future could we implement a warning email if you get blocked ? It's just that I wasted alot of time trying to solve what was wrong.
