Completed some hyperspin cabs.. check them out..

Recommended Posts

In these pics they are not fully completed, but they actually are and I will get more video and pics of them soon.

So a few good friends of mine finally bit the bullet and wanted to build some hyperspin cabs. So here are the pics. I will post more pics of what they looked like before when I get them.

First cab, the pedestal cab. My buddy Jason completely designed this himself and I did the artwork and printing. We used my new matte finish textured laminate which looks amazing! The pedestal is a 2 player with LED buttons consisting of two LEDWIZ boards running all buttons and LED's. The monitor (not shown in pictures yet) is a 70" LED that mounts on the wall. The pedestal cab goes under the LED TV for storing and moved out when its game time. It has a plexiglass window that the custom computer (soon to be watercooled) is shown off. The control panel has 3 little hydraulic hinges so it stays up on its own. Since we decided against flush mounting the trackball I decided to do my first trackball plate wrap on this setup and it turned out pretty good. The entire front lower section of the control panel is plexi glass with translucent vinyl so it lights up. Inside is a RGB led lighting system that really makes that marquee look cool. The theme is a tattoo theme, since my buddy is all about tattoos. I printed my first ever custom led inserts for the buttons and now I will be selling a ton of new designs for anyone who uses these paradise arcade led buttons (they may fit other brands as well).

Cab #2

My buddy Jeff wanted more of a real arcade so he picked up an empty junk Radical Bikers cab at a local auction. He totally changed this cab, I wish I had the pictures to show exactly what he did but since I don't I will describe it. First he chopped nearly a foot off the back and made it a thin cab since he is putting a LCD in and not CRT. Then he removed all the middle boards and widened the cab 5" to make it fit the 32" LCD perfect. He then built a new control panel, a sliding keyboard drawer, and a sliding PC drawer for easy access. He even made a little lit up marquee under the large marquee. The artwork was done by a United Kingdom guy namde Joshua Summana (amazing artist). I contacted him to use his art but didn't get a reply in time (in a hurry to do this cab) and decided to do it anyway. The art was done free for my friend and we have Joshuas website and name printed on the graphics, plus he loves video games so I am sure he won't mind once he finds out. :damnmate: We have a few mess ups in the graphics and we are fixing them sometime in the next week or so but for now it still looks pretty cool. I also wrapped the trackball plate on this cab as well since it went so well with the pedestal cab. I will have more video and pics of these cabs as soon as I get them. And this cab is not completely finished yet in these pics, but will soon be. He also has a plexi window to showcase the PC.

The graphic under the arcadeskin logo needs redone.. printed wrong size.. but easy fix..

Sweet! I love thin style....I sometimes wish I could chop off the back foot or so of mine. The RattyCade is my favorite of the bunch.
