Creezz67 99 Posted March 23, 2016 Hi, Great video. I have done everything you have mentioned, everything showing as present on bios screen in retroarch, rom extension set to rom, settings/exe all correct. It plays ok when i point it to a file in retroarch, but when i use hyperspin still has a black screen only. Do the roms need to be on internal drive ? as I have mine on external drive. All other retroarch systems work fine with roms on it but this one is very odd.
Creezz67 99 Posted March 23, 2016 All sorted now, retroarch didn't save the bios path but now all working perfectly. works for MSX and MSX2 systems Thanks again

spotUP 849 Posted March 23, 2016 Why doesn't it work the normal way? Shouldn't this be reported to the rocketlauncher guys instead?
spotUP 849 Posted March 23, 2016 I tried both fmsx and blue msx in retroarch directly now, both refuse to run any games. Weird. i have the bios files in place and both those needed directories from the blue msx install. Has anyone got this working? Wanna tell us how you did? spotUP 849 Posted March 23, 2016 Yes! I got blueMSX working! How? I started retroarch from the command line like this:retroarch --menu --verbose > log.txt 2>&1and found the following lines in the log:RetroArch [WARN] :: SYSTEM DIR is empty, assume CONTENT DIR D:\HyperSpin\Emulators\RetroArch\1942 (Japan).romRetroArch [iNFO] :: Environ SYSTEM_DIRECTORY: "D:\HyperSpin\Emulators\RetroArch\".RetroArch [ERROR] :: Failed to load content.Dooh, my system dir was not set. When i did set it BluMSX works. \o/
