For example cheapest router for 30 pounds? I know i need to buy bits for router so price for 3 off them is 35 pounds.So this set well be good for t molding? Router ~30 + bits 35=65 pounds.... Doesnt matter on the depth on the mdf you can adjust the slot cut on the routers plunge. The slot cutter i bought came complete with both bearing, arbour and cutter. The router has now become my most frequently used tool. It can be used for so many applications.... I cannot imagine living without it! mikekim Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 I picked up a 1/2" MAC router from B&Q for £69. also picked up a 1/4" Trend 6 bit set for £12. Looks like t molding is not that cheep router, bits + t molding over 100 pounds.... Any other solution for nice edges??? Thx for help guys.... scooner Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 Gday wiskas either way if you want to do t-moulding or you just want nice edges your gonna need a router. If it were me i would be getting a 1/4" trimming router and you can get all the bits you need for it, bullnose, chamfer, or a slotter for t-moulding. The trimming router is easier to use for a beginner in my opinion,as you can use it in one hand and doesnt have the power of a 1/2" router which scare some people.
