Hyper Sync Chart Report Project

Hi guys this is where ill be listing a full database chart of what content is available  for hyper sync and which content is not there but could be added in. I know its been ages since ive been in this scene but i promise to do a full list of every single system available in the list of hyper sync and go through every single bit of content and list what is in their and whats not it will be a huge project but im gonna get it done thanks regards relic.

Good day guys if you remember the hyper sort  project well i stopped for awhile cause i had alot of things i had to do in my life time but i figure now im free i will continue the project and do all systems which are in the list of hyper sync this is only content which is on hyper sync already i will be listing by file count and what content is available  the first system i will prob do is MAME cause its the most important so bear with me  Im gonna do systems in the same alphabet order which hyper sync and hyper list has them set to thanks regards relic. =)

Hey relic great to see your back in the saddle!

You should be aware that Hypersync is being replaced by HyperBaseLive (HBL). Avar started some audit stuff of ftp, downloads and sync I believe. Im not sure whats been added to HBL

 

Maybe have a word with @fr0stbyt3about what has and hasnt been added to HBL.

I'm expecting everything on sync will get moved straight to HBL then additional stuff is going over there also. I started cleaning up the DL section a tiny bit but DIY at home has taken priority for a good few weeks. 

All the best with your project and hopefully we can tie up the "whats availiable" unknown sometime next year

yes but i figure even if i do this then it will make everyone know whats currently available on hyper sync and whats not which can be transfered straight to hyper base live in the end . also how do i download hyperbase live now i cant seem to find a link to it and i used to be a tester on it but then got way to busy but i would love to continue using it and help out.

It would probably be easier to do this in spreadsheet form? Using something like Google Sheets.

Then you could even employ google charts to create some pretty graphs etc.

Sure it will help just thinking some of it may be done already. Go for it though. HBL testing is closed now awaiting release

I would love to but this project wont be current forever cause hyper base live will be out soon which is why im just using the simple basic show and tell method like i used to do. this will be more like a draft copy of whats there and whats not which people can follow for keeping track of content which is on hyper sync already and whats not there.  which can then be sorted through downloads or to fix up content which isnt there in hyper sync which can be added to hyper base live.

Not sure on your Download speeds, or Quotas. Might be easier to use Hypert00ls reporting.. on a new copy of Hyperspin with a full download via sync?

Just thinking of ways to make this easier for you as it sounds like a horrible task, that will be redundant soon enough.

my speeds are great i have NBN and i have unlimited  i can reach up to megabits per second

Might be easier then to download all via hypersync and then audit it with HyperTools then. Would save you a lot of trolling through files etc.

I forget now if hypersync matches against your database.

Probably best to update databases through there also. Although they will be fairly outdated.

again im only grabbing content hyper sync currently has and listing the items  even with the xmls hyper sync gives me.

You should def use bungles suggestion then. Will be the quickest wayto list everything thats missing. You will need to list the totals manually still

How goes the syncing? I would think the method I described would be easiest/most effective.

Hopefully you can just pull the missing reports or available reports or both via Hypertools and paste them as links perhaps hosted in google docs?

Then even moving to them to spreadsheets and guages/charts etc via chartes and sheets.

Should give everyone a pretty good idea whats available right now and can be updated over time as it gross and perhaps changes to AI.

if you can show me an example of how you would like me to make it then ill try its not easy with google charts preety much like using excel and i failed by 5% at tafe with excel

No Problem, to be fair I think doing a complete download and then doing an audit with Hypertools will be enough.

It should give all the data you need, its just a matter then of how you want to announce it.

We're currently doing quite a bit of data work server side or I'd be able to share a bit of info on this topic. I won't have data on every type of media, but in a month or so I should be able to give you data on wheels.
