  1. Dear Hyperspinners First of all, a huge shout out to the amazing feedback on my last questions. You guys are fabulous! Ok....now for my question. I have a about 12-13 systems that I am setting up on the Nvidia Shield Hyperspin. I am wanting to know how to create MAME themes - particularly Midway Classics and Capcom Classics. I have downloaded the xml file (in addition to the relevant artwork) from this site, however I want to know where to paste this in my main Hyperspin folder and calibrate it so that it will show up in the Hyperspin main menu? Will I have to edit the xml file? Do I need a separate settings file? Any step by step instructions would be fabulous!!! Please use quite basic language to help answer this question...….I know very little about Hyperspin and am just at the beginning of my journey. For the record, I am using a PC and an external hard drive to setup Hyperspin, then transferring this to the emulated storage on my Nvidia Shield. Again.....Thank you so much for all of your help. I really appreciate it! Soup Pants

  3. ScummVM - ThatPurpleStuff's Themes View File ScummVM - ThatPurpleStuff's Themes Greetings, I tend to post a excerpt from the corresponding Wikipedia Article, but not today. As I am currently working on the completing the missing themes for the ScummVM system, I noticed that the themes that ThatPurpleStuff made back in 2013/2014 were not available here in the downloads section. So without boring you any further with why and how I am hereby releasing his work as two archives, one containing the themes and the other containing the wheels. 221 themes and wheels. Hopefully this pack will find you well and out of appreciation go over to @thatpurplestuff's Profile and write something on his wall as a thank you. It contains: Main Menu Theme Main Menu Wheel Default System Theme Game Wheels Pointer Game Boxes To install this set extract the rar to to your HyperSpin directory and all of the files will go to where they're needed so it just works. Set includes some of the original 4:3 art and some variants in case you want it. This system is still a work in progress but I hope this helps in the meantime. Enjoy! 5. 16:9 HD - AAE - Game Themes Ver. 1.1 20170422 View File This is my set of manually remastered 16:9 HD AAE themes. I try to pay as much attention to detail in my remasters as possible, redrawing or replacing artwork where necessary to optimize aesthetics for a HD widescreen display. All artwork is smoothed and the visual space has been manually re-optimized theme by theme to ensure themes look as natural as possible in 16:9. Finally, I check each theme one by one before uploading. If you find any flaws, please bring them to my attention and I will fix them for the next release. Cheers. To install these themes simply place them in your :/HyperSpin/Media/AAE/Themes/ folder and overwrite or backup any existing files. Please see conversion and update notes for additional details as to changes made to each individual theme. If a theme isn't listed in the notes, the conversion was fairly trivial and didn't require anything worth mentioning. I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on 16:9 theme conversions that I'll be uploading. I hope you enjoy them. Submitter Avar Submitted 04/22/2017 Category Platinum Themes File Count Credits

  7. Visual Pinball Everything View File I would like to share with you my personal setup of 188 best desktop visual pinball tables, fully running in hyperspin. With all the bells and whistles. Its not the full set of tables, cause their was some tables that had 5 variations of em and some i didn't include because I found allot of them lacked interest or simply look too generic, but I created the default theme in such a way that if you decide to add a table i missed out on you can add a 1024x768 backglass png image in the backgrounds folder, a 350x450 flyer png image in the artwork 3 folder a wheel in the artwork 4 and a video all with the same name as your table, and as long as you add it to the database with that exact name it will flt in flawlessly. I post here the default theme i created, and a main menu theme i did not create but altered to fit in better, as well as all the artwork i used: backgrounds (backglass) , artwork 3( flyers) , artwork 4 (wheel) plus larger wheels for the main wheels. database.as well as all the videos I have used. Thanks to a special youtuber's channel : Laylow's Virtual Pinball Gameplay Videos . Thank you so much. You the man! I will include a mega link to a 7zip file of everything including a very detailed how to install read me file. that I highly suggest fully reading before proceeding installing. Visual Pinball requires the use of a feature called alternate emulators in hyperspin but i have all set it up for you here just please take the time to read the instructions in entirety before starting. I cannot imply this enough. Lots of people have been having extreme issues getting this to work let alone getting it to be added in 1 wheel in hyperpsin. I did all the hard work for you in my megalink, as long as you follow instructions. If you fail to do so and skip a step you might end up with a bunch of errors . I took the time to write it all down for you so we could all get this right. This system had been a pain in my side for a long time , I personally couldn't get it to fully run for a very long time , So I know the severity of its difficulty setting up, its like no other system you have ever added. But I finally got it and made it very understandable for everyone. I personally could not have done this without reading so many articles in the forums here and at vpforums. Now it runs perfectly as intended and does not crash or get any error messages, and all the tables are set to have the exact same keys. I had to alter a few of their scripts to get it to do so but its fully functional polished jem and I am personally glad its all set up and done. And I bring it to you so all of you who have been having the extreme frustrations as I have can finally tame this beast once and for all. Thanks to everyone here in the hyperspin forums for the great articles and just overall great comunity. And everyone at Vpforums as well. oh and Laylow's Virtual Pinball Gameplay Videos on youtube, your channel had almost everything I needed only 5 or 6 of my tables i had to use a playfield image png instead of a video. great share and Im sure the people here will enjoy your channel as well. please go check his channel out, let's help encourage him to keep posting and sharing those amazing playfeild videos for all to enjoy. Please let us know if my setup and guide was helpful and you succeeded in setting it up for your self Or just simply leave me a comment , I rather do enjoy reading a small note of thanks once in a while, its why I do what I do. mega link: https://mega.nz/#!Ox50WByC decryption key: !6PrDuljgPIGnfdAiBUQzFkmQLTijKiRCF81j2YnO6Ek copy paste link into a chrome browser then when ask for a decryption key copy paste it and click decrypt. then select download through browser. Includes: Main and System/Default themes with PSX, Arcade or Xbox buttons You can check in the screen-shots that these system themes keeps the video frame instead of reloading it every time you scroll through the games, it also shows the console or manufacturer logo while it waits for the videos to be displayed. Here is a complete setup for the Sega Hikaru System (Default System Theme). It has the wheel art, videos, and themes. Works with newest Hyperlist 03/09/2016. Overall It's a pretty standard theme, but I also added in the arcade machines for each game to make it look nicer. All the gameplay videos I took from Youtube and trimmed them.

  12. So @Riffman81, @CriticalCid & co have been putting some serious hours into recording Hyperspin themes for use with Launchbox. heres a quick preview of them in Hyperspin android I have commented before and the swf and animation issues with HS themes in Android and the video themes are looking like a viable option to replace some themes in my setup. there are limitations with using full screen videos and I don't really understand the 4x3 16x9 thing as I don't notice the difference much. Its VERY easy for me to make a batch of theme zips that match all the videos made by the LB guys so if there's interest or I decide to use more I will drop them somewhere for others to use. (Maybe @Riffman81 Would allow me to put them in the ftp folder with the videos) the themes are ONLY available on the EmuMovies FTP let me know what you think

  17. Pinball Arcade Game Themes View File OK So in the snapshots I included for some reason there is no video, but I assure you that there is. I will try to post a mega link for all the videos later. As long as the videos are named exactly the same as the game and its wheels it will show up with a nice matching border frame and some art work you don't see in these snapshots. I've been working really hard at getting all these done. Allot of the first ones alphabetically , I am planning to redo has I get better as you go down the list. I will keep posting these till I completely do the list. but I can only do a little at a time. 18. I was thinking of an idea that might be nicer about the game themes that are featured in HS. Would it be possible by default for themes to appear only when you start the title? So how does the Nintendo Wii WiiFlow frontend work? For those titles that have a theme or you see the theme or see the default system, not both. I think it would be interesting to have this option so as not to break the pattern of the list presentation.

  21. I've been looking for a thread but didn't find any and I'd love to see screenshots of members HP set ups. Especially the custom set ups and artwork. Do you all use the generic download artwork, videos, themes, wheels? or do you all have your own customized stuff you created to fit the look/theme you want? Post it here or please point me to the thread if one already exists. Did someone set up all artwork to fit a specific theme? ie star wars or any other movie? or do you just reserve that stuff for the cabinet sides? I'd love to get inspired and get ideas for my own.
  22. Good Afternoon All, I have all the images, videos, themes, wheels, bezels setup for Mame in HS/RL and thought it would be a great idea to start creating "Classic" folders to assist in scanning through 7000+ games. As I start to setup all the classic folders, I began to think I will have to copying wheels, themes, videos, images, bezels for RL etc. I was about to just copy and paste my current MAME vids, images, etc for each classic folder however that is a lot of wasted space. I look through some of the forums for solutions and saw someone mentioned Link Extensions however not in great detail. Is there a program that can redistribute HS media files in one location to using classic folders via.xml files or will this have to be manually done? Thanks
  23. Does anyone know if it is possible to swap the pointer when scrolling through the system selection wheel? I'm looking to make it where when I am scrolling through the wheel it matches each system. (I'm not talking about when I select a system and go into the game wheel) Would I have to make a script for this to work? If so, where would I place it? Thank you.
