2D NES Box Art and Wheels

    Version 1.0.0

    36 downloads

A collection of 976 2D box arts for NES. May contain some duplicates. Contains a high number of hard to find artwork for unlicensed games and prototypes. Also, a custom database that I am using to go with it, since many games are not in the official database - only 16 games are missing artwork, and 10 of those are prototypes. There are a handful of Famicom and FDS games in there. Use it or don't, I'm providing it as a convenience. I decided to go ahead and upload my wheels too, since I created several from scratch, and updated some from the FTP set that were incorrect. All games in the database have wheels at least.

    Change Wheel Position?

I'm setting up a PSP theme to look as close to the actual PSP XMB as possible (Just like loading a game from the PSP memory stick) The problem I'm having is the position of the wheel I need to move the wheel more to the left, and if possible stop with the main game a little more closer to the top (where the arrow is) Anyone have any idea how to go about doing this? Here's the mockup I made in Photoshop And here is how it is now so you can see where I have to move it from. (I know how to resize the wheel images and change the text location. I just haven't gotten around to it.)
  3. Hello spinners & pinners, My name is Josh White and I've been making some custom Pinball cab designs for members. I started with Dazz's Twilight Tribute HyperPin 2125 at the Texas Pinball Convention in March this year. Since then I've done a few more designs and wanted to offer my services. I'm a broadcast senior graphic designer with 18 years’ experience in design for tv, print & web. I've got my BFA in Art at the University of Rhode Island and started working for NBC out of college. We moved around the country a few times and now our family lives in Texas. I love making design work for people. This venture is a true calling back to my roots as an artist learning about Art History and making creative design work. TV pays the bills but this is more fun! I’ve been offering a 20% discount for gold members. I charge $25 an hour and send samples throughout the build. We start with the basic concept then get going on the elements needed for the cab. I can design standup arcade machines as well. Marquees, instruction decals, control panels, the whole deal. I'm quick with all the programs designers use today. I run both Mac & PC at home. 2D, 3D - all the Adobe stuff. I have tons of experince in digital design which saves you time and money. I'm working with Bowman Signs in Connecticut, all my designs have been printed by Bradley and we are working on creating some generic design cabs that can easily be customized and made to spec. His shop is second to none and I enjoy seeing his prints on member’s cabs, they look outstanding! Please check out my work and let me know if you'd like to hire me for your next project. Thank you, all the best! Josh
  4. TLDR: Looking to find some original arcade art sources for X-men, TNMNT, The Simpsons (4 player titles) (Games I played non-stop in the arcade) Ok guys and girls, so I've been away for awhile but I've recently had some freelance work aside from my normal job. What does this mean? I'm finally in a financial position to spend some cash towards a proper cabinet. I'm terrible at wood work and have little to no tools, so I was thinking of going with a kit. This is the kit I was looking at: https://www.recroommasters.com/32-Pro-Upright-Xtension-Arcade-4-Player-Cabinet-p/rm-xt-32-pro-4p.htm I'm great at graphics etc. (freelance work) but need some help finding High resolution art work to splice together for the cab, any ideas or go-to websites? I've googled a bit, and found a few, but I figured I would ask the experts. Thanks.

Added different cartridge styles for Tengen, Color Dreams, American Video Entertainment and other games. These are more accurate than the previous NES carts I uploaded a few months back.

  7. So I loaded up an external HDD with all my artwork, roms, etc.... I don't have any video snaps for MAME yet but upon loading it to my main machine I realized my internal HDD is half the size of my external... So I am gonna have to delete some stuff to make space. Is there any hyperspin themes specific to the console that does not have a video preview or a way to insert a generic clip for all games similar to the main menu video snaps?
