The wheel sounds packs I've found for various systems were much too quiet compared to the base sound pack. I've gone through and normalised them to increase decibels, while also reduced the default pack which I found comes in like a wrecking ball. Most of these packs I found on the ftp and were not available on the site anywhere when I looked a while ago, though that might have changed over time. The Playstation and Master System packs have been put together by me but I can't take credit for anything else aside from adjusting the decibels, there is a chance I hand edited a few of the other packs to remove some of the more annoying or less impactful sounds files. I've also included the default wheel click with reduced decibels in case anyone prefers it. Let me know if you think anything doesn't seem right. Enjoy! Here is another great tutorial from @ninja2bceen if you need some help installing these.

This is a small project I set out to do for my own personal library that I wanted to share with the community (hence the size). This came about from my frustration of not being able to find a lot of coverage for some of my favorite famicom games since understandably its nearly impossible to find decent images to work with. It contains a collection of japanese famicoms boxes as well as some custom western boxes, so I split them into two parts. The JAPAN BOX PACK contains 21 original and custom boxes. The USA BOX PACK contains 24 original and custom boxes. These box packs should be used for anyone who wishes to cover some of their famicom games or the Japanese translated versions of the Western games (e.g. Gun-Dec vs Vice: Project Doom) and wanted a separate box for each version. This is by no means meant to be a completely ACCURATE box pack, but a fun pack of sorts. Special thanks to Kondorito for going above and beyond helping me with this project. This site honestly has the best user support I've experienced. Feel free to comment or message me if you have any questions and whatnot, I might start a topic for this if I plan on taking this project further. Hope you guys enjoy.

Hey guys! For this set I reviewed all the current content in HS plus some other sites, as I wanted to be as faithful as possible to the original NES boxes, specially with the spines. The main stuff I am utilizing is from @slagram69 and from @Wally Wonka (Thank you guys for your amazing work!). I applied a custom 3d box template for this pack (similar to the Famicom one I did) for the Wally Wonka 2D covers set (and I removed the NES spine logos they all had), and another different template for slagram69's boxes, as those were already 3d, but I modified them to my own taste. In this pack you will find all the games that I have in my set, so expect licensed, unlicensed and protos. Cheers!

It is surprising that there isn't a complete 2D and 3D box art pack for the latest NES 1.3 database. I had this set for a while now I don't know why it was ever uploaded, but here it is. I know the spines have the custom NES logo but it never bothered me. Enjoy.

This project along the Famicom clear logos one were the most intensive ones I have ever done, but still, it was a pleasure to make as the NES has a very special place in my heart and each cart I made brought me awesome memories. The entire set is 100% accurate to the original games (you will have grey, gold, green, blue, red, special, prototypes, unreleased; all types of carts made from real photos). There are some variations I made for some carts (as some games had more than one release/version). These are located in the Extras folder and labeled with an ALT/ALT2 at the end of their filenames. Surf around as maybe you find an ALT version you like more than the original one. Be aware though that I did not put too much effort on the alternate versions, so you might find low res stickers in there. The total pack goes over 1,000 carts! A special Thank You goes to: @juniorunderground for some of the FHD stickers I worked with @Wally Wonka for the special carts base pack @Aorin for the legendary task of scavenging HQ images for the latest badge! I put all my love into its making, so I hope you like it PS. Because of an issue there is when uploading files here related to its size, I had to split it into several parts (to not surpass the 100MB limit). This means that you will need all the parts downloaded before trying to extract the content from part 1. Once the issue is resolved I will reupload it in just one part or a couple.
  7. Greetings, I've run into an issue that I cannot seem to figure out. When launching a .NES game through retroarch (July 17 2016 build), there are no problems, the game launches fine. When I launch the game through rocketlauncher indicating to use retroarch as the emulator, again no problems. Through Hyperspin, I can select the Nintendo Entertainment System platform, be shown the list of existing games (no problems here so far) and after that, when I press enter on my keyboard, nothing happens. I suspect an AHK file issue but I cannot be sure. At first launch, I got an error message saying the nintendo entertainment system.ahk file did not exist, so i created one (copy actually from another ahk file present in the dir) and renamed to to exactly what it was looking for. My HyperHQ NES settings are exactly in line with all my other working emulators, paths and such through Hyperspin. please advise.

This pack contains 400 carts according to the latest development database for Nintendo Famicom, I did not create all carts, but only completed the ones that were missing, including some unlicensed, untranslated (now translated) and protos. There`s a separate file, Sanrio Carnival (Japan) (Translated En), it`s a fixed cart image, just replace it after extracting the main rar files. Note that Famicom carts have varied formats and shapes, the width and height of them are varied, so if you`re willing to use it, some sizing may be needed. As always, I`ll upload a full Nintendo Famicom pack in wide screen, with everything sized. Enjoy! Tiny update: Grab this cart Rodrigo found earlier today!

  14. Nintendo Entertainment System [Main Menu] Original Retail Box (ORB) Style View File NES theme based on the original retail packaging of the console. Bringing the original box aesthetic back into Hyperspin really adds a layer of nostalgia to the experience. I use old commercials for the preview video but this works fine with gameplay vids too. 23. Nintendo Entertainment System - Complete System Pack View File This is the complete Nintendo Entertainment System default theme set. Includes: Default/System Theme, Box and Cart Art, Theme Settings and Database, all media converted for 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Does not include: Wheels, Videos, Roms. This pack contains Arcade, PSX or Xbox buttons to choose from. You can check in the screen-shots that these system themes keeps the video frame instead of reloading it every time you scroll through the games, it also shows the console or manufacturer logo while it waits for the videos to be displayed. These themes don't use Special arts, deactivate them in HyperHQ or just move or delete the special folder which contains special.swf files. HyperHQ Settings, copy these settings, it will make the theme look correct with these themes: Here you can disable special artwork that won't be used in these themes: Paste Nintendo Entertainment System.ini in the "Settings" folder, localized in the same directory where Hyperspin.exe resides. I only created themes, converted artwork to fit them and to be properly displayed in wide-screen displays, all credits for boxes and carts goes to their respective authors.
