  1. Hi, Was just wondering. The prices of Open Frame monitors on eBay seems a bit excessive given the fact the size etc. I was wondering, can you just strip down a normal monitor from its casing and use that? or am I missing something here? Thanks
  2. Hello guys! I started to build my cabinet since February, but just now i have the guts to show how it is becoming First of all i built the control panel, and after that i had the courage to start build something bigger ( I never built anything with wood). I am using a old PC (going to buy a i7 soon), a ATI HD4870, Sony TV (KV-21FS140) and a transcoder to hook all up. Right now i am finishing the build of front kickplate, the marquee holder, installing the motor that will rotate the screen and thinking about art of the marquee and sides. Check my progress: Here its my finished Control panel with RGBs Buttons, a LEDpac64 and 2 Magstik joysticks. My Sony TV decased and installed in the wheel for rotating mechanism. There is my cabinet almost done and the rotating wheel already in place and a pause for some testing Here is the video of the rotating mechanism (its rotating by hand for now). http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GlQB4JJ6qng Cheers Mahrio EDIT: Added the TV model. PS: Sorry my broken english ehehe.
