startreker posted a topic in HyperSpin**edit:- page 4 has xml and media by @dougan78** I haven't yet implemented RL. I'm waiting until I can dedicate a few straight hours to getting it done right and not having a system in a state of flux where nothing is working. I might just eventually have to break down though and start the upgrade to RL in pieces. That being said with the ability to choose the emulator at a game level, I think this really opens up the opportunity for some amazing custom categories. My first thought for me is to make a master list of all aimtrak compatible games and systems and create a master list. My goal is to eventually have a separate wheel that I can go to and everything on that list will be pre-configured to work with my aimtrak mouse. I would have to have to separate emulators and have the games probably all in one folder but it should be possible with RL. This is my list of game systems that work with aimtrak, I included games that I know were lightgun games but I haven't tested every last one of them. I am curious if anyone knows of any systems or games that I am missing. I found the CD-i emulator seems to work alright with aimtrak but I couldn't get any of the exclusives for that system to load with the emulator, just the various ports of American Laser Games. I have been meaning to get to the Atari and CPC emulators to test but if someone knows which emulator to use that would of great help as I build this out. 12 downloadsAll: First, I am not a programmer or professional script writer - so please be kind. The purpose of this script is to edit the daphne-singe game config files that contain references to internally needed files so that they point to the right location. example: . The script will change sprCursor = spriteLoad("D:/Arcade/Games/American Laser Games/data/singe/crimepatrol/crosshaira.png") to this: sprCursor = spriteLoad("I:/Emulators/Hyperspin/Games/American Laser Games/data/singe/crimepatrol/crosshaira.png") The script can be run from the base folder of the system name and it will search all subfolders. Also, it creates a backup of the target file before making any changes. Use at own risk. I developed it because I got tired of having to manually edit the .singe files for each of the 'American Laser' and 'Wow Action Max' games. Hopefully, it will help others.
I have been testing out the gun game possibilities with various retroarch cores and a wireless mouse before bothering to buy guns. its not looking worth it right now, does anyone have a good setup for gun games on ANY platform or ANY emulator?
I ordered a leapmotion today and wanna build it in my cabinet for mame shooters instead of an arcade gun. Does somebody already tried this controller with mame gun games? I like to hide it under my screenglass for just a quick mame shooter with an invisible lightgun and controlling the mouse with it and maybe trackball games. http://goo.gl/Of7QYP
