  2. Hey all, Just thought I'd share my completed slimline cabinet. Originally I had a Killer Instinct cabinet. I refurbished it and added Mortal Kombat 2 artwork. Altered the control panel to accommodate a trackball and some extra buttons. This can be seen below - However I had to move house at the end of last year. The bitter pill to swallow was that i couldn't fit the cabinet in the new house. The front door and hallway were just too slim! Not to mention it took 4 people just to pickup the thing. Alas I thought my cabinet days were over. Until I saw a video on Youtube with people experimenting with LCD marquees. This regenerated my interest, So I decided to build an all new cabinet. This time an slimline one that could be transported anywhere. I reused a lot of the parts from the old cabinet and also got a Dell ultrasharp 29" LED for the marquee as well as a ultra high 27" LED for the main monitor. I put in a PACLED64 and xbox controllers as well as the aimtrak light guns. The results speak for themselves I'd never go back to using CRT after finding out what hlsl can do. Very pleased with the results! Plus XBMC as a jukebox looks amazing! The old MK2 cabinet is sitting at my parents house waiting for its new home. Ebay here i come! lol -Lewman
