  1. Hi everyone, I purchased HyperSpin platinum, donated to Emumovies for a yearly membership but when I try to run HyperSync Cloud.exe I get an error message: HyperSync encountered an error and needs to close, please see DEBUG.LOG for more details. If I open DEBUG.LOG I get the following details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Clase no registrada (Excepción de HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)) en System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.CoCreateInstance(Guid& clsid, Object punkOuter, Int32 context, Guid& iid) en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateWithLicense(String license, Guid clsid) en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateInstanceCore(Guid clsid) en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateInstance() en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.GetOcxCreate() en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.TransitionUpTo(Int32 state) en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.CreateHandle() en System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) en System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) en System.Windows.Forms.AxHost.EndInit() en HyperSync.Forms.Secondary.Subscribe.InitializeComponent() en HyperSync.Forms.Secondary.Subscribe..ctor() en HyperSync.Forms.Primary.MainWindow..ctor() en HyperSync.Program.Main() Thank you for your help guys
  2. Hi I have and Hyperspin install on mounted network drive. HyperSync was working fine until I installed Windows 10 April 2108 update. I tried it on two PCs. It stops working after windows update. Any ideas? HyperSpin shows no internet connection available which is not the case
  3. View File Window 10 Arcade Classics Desktop Theme I created this desktop theme for Windows 10 from images found around the internet and use them for my arcade cabinet. I take no credit for any of the images but thought I would share the theme in case anyone's interested. Most images are 1920x1080 except for 2 that are a bit bigger and don't look that good scaled down. I also included a VBS script that makes the desktop wallpaper rotate to the next random image and a shortcut to this script that makes it easy to double-click and run the script. You may need to make your own or edit the shortcut depending on where you move the VBS script but I included it for completeness. Enjoy, and let me know if you have any issues with the theme. 5. ScummVM - gabriel Knight 2 : The Beast Within-klopjero View File The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery is an interactive movie point-and-click adventure game released by Sierra On-Line in 1995. Unlike its predecessor Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, released in 1993, The Beast Within was produced entirely in full motion video. The technology was popular at the time of the game's production with the recently introduced storage capabilities of CD-ROMs, but was expensive to produce. Its sequel, Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned used a rendered 3D engine. In 1996, Computer Gaming World magazine named it their game of the year.[3] Submitter KlopjerO Submitted 06/12/2017 Category Themes (4:3) HyperBase Version Media Dimensions File Count Credits
  6. Greetings, I have been running Hyperspin 1.0 for a few years now and I noticed that on my barebones WIndows XP laptop that Hyperspin does not accept keyboard input on automatic startup of my system. I have an app shortcut in the startup folder on my start menu. This is a problem with I control the system with only the joystick and the laptop is inside the cabinet. My workaround is using my phone or another laptop to use TightVNC to grab mouse input to activate input on the app. There are no other apps grabbing keyboard focus to my knowledge. Only microsoft security essentials and Intel WIreless App is running besides Hyperspin. My System: DELL Latitude 520 Windows XP Pro SP3 2GB Ram 4 player XMEN cab 2 x X-Arcade USB and PS2 keyboard input modules wired into 4 player joysticks and buttons. Would love for this to be a seamless experience. Anyone have a solution for powering on a system locked in a cabinet? I have to reach into mine with a ski pole to power it on. - AaronWPI
  7. ScummVM - Broken sword 2.5-klopjero View File Broken Sword 2.5 The Return of the Templars is an unofficial part of the Broken Sword series. It is a game created by fans to explain what happens during the time between Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror and Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon. This fan game was originally released in German but an English voice pack was released during 2010 making the game available in both English and German. It is a short game that stays relatively true to the story and feeling of the series. As can be expected by a game created by hardcore fans of the game. The game is a freeware windows game and can be downloaded by anyone for free. The game was developed and released by german company MindFactory. The game took an entire eight years to develop and the development started in the year 2000. The final product was released on 28 September 2008. The game was an response to the gap in the story that fans see between the second and third game. 9. Hey everyone, I have assembled some useful Windows Batch Files to help with the automatic zipping for roms and other tasks. To create the .bat file simply create a text document within Windows and name it what you would like and make sure the extension is .bat Then you want to right click and press 'edit' in order to add text to the document. Simply copy and paste one of the following code and save it. By default windows doesnt normally allow you to see extensions of known file types so you may have to do a quick Google Search on how to show file extensions on all files If you would like to change the compression type to either 7z or zip, simply replace the extension where it says either .7z or .zip to the compression type you want. Some of these file can/may be improved, as these arnt perfect, however they may help you like they have helped me. NOTES You must have 7z installed on the computer. I have included the default directory to 7z however double check your directory to make sure its in the same place, otherwise change it to the correct directory All Batch files should be in the same directory you would like the operation, this means the .bat files are portable. So sometimes the Batch file may also be ziped up 😐 ----- BatchFolder2zip.bat The below code automatically zips the files inside folders with the folders name. This is useful for zipping up Foldered roms but dont want to zip up the folder as well. This is useful for SkumVM if you wanted to convert your folder rom set to ZIP for /d %%X in (*) do "C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe" a "%%X.zip" "./%%X/*" Pseudo Code: For content inside every folder for any extension run 7z and add the contents inside folder and name the zip the same as the folder. --------------------- BatchFile27z.bat This automatically zips all files within the same directory of the batch file into a 7z. Useful for making NES or snes roms into 7z, or pretty much any standalone rom FOR %%i IN (*.*) DO "C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe" a "%%~ni.7z" "%%i" Pseudo Code: For the name of every file with any extension use 7z.exe to create a zip with the current name minus extension. ------------------- BatchFilesInFolder27z.bat So what this does is it puts all the files inside multiple folders in the current directory into a 7z file outside the folder. HOWEVER it only zips the files within the folder if they have the same name but can have different extentions. For example Folder name is Crash_Bandicoot and inside the folder is Crash Bandicoot (USA).bin and Crash Bandicoot (USA).cue. The batch file will automatically zip both files inside the folder (because they have the same name) and place the zip outside that folder called Crash Bandicoot (USA).7z. Just keep in mind, this will also automatically zip any other file with a different name in its own zip such as track01.bin files. etc FOR /r %%i IN (*) DO "C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe" a "%%~ni.7z" "%%i" Pseudo Code: For files inside directory with any extension use 7z to add files to 7z with name INSIDE folder pairing it up with files of the same name ------------------ BatchFile2Folder2Manual.bat For every PDF/anyfile [Replace(*.pdf*) with (*.*) or for text files (*.txt*)] file, it will create a folder of the same name and then rename the file to Manual.pdf. It will then move that file into the folder. This is useful for Manuals downloaded from EmuMovies Download Service as it downlaods the manual as the name of the game and to follow the structure of RocketLaunch, its normally in games name folder. FOR %%i IN (*.pdf*) DO md "%%~ni" & ren "%%i" Manual.pdf & move Manual.pdf "%%~ni" Pseudo Code: For every file name that ends with .pdf, create a folder with the PDF file name without .pdf and rename the pdf file to Manual.pdf then move the file into the folder just created. ------------------ RenameFolderBasedOffFileName.bat This simply renames the folder based off the file name of whats inside the folder. Im not entirely sure the affect this has on multiple files within the folder so please try in a separate area before use for /d %%a in (*) do ( for %%b in ("%%a\*.*") do ( ren "%%a" "%%~nb" ) ) ------------------ RenameFilesInFolder2FolderName.bat This basically renames the files within the folder with the name of the folder. It specifically looks for iso/bins/cue and renames them based off the folder name. This is a dirty and is slower in performance however it does get the job done. If you wanted different file extensions, just change the the bin/cue/iso to another file extension. You can remove or add lines if necessary. This may cause conflict if you have more than one file in the folder with the same extension, however shouldn't matter if they are different extensions (bin/cue). Please try this in a separate area before using it in your main folders. for /r %%F in (*.bin) do @for %%A in ("%%F\..") do ren "%%F" "%%~nxA.bin" for /r %%F in (*.iso) do @for %%A in ("%%F\..") do ren "%%F" "%%~nxA.iso" for /r %%F in (*.cue) do @for %%A in ("%%F\..") do ren "%%F" "%%~nxA.cue" ------------------ I am aware that there may be other utilities that can do the same thing such as Dons Rom Rename however these batch files may have other use cases and I am only sharing them because I found them useful, and it may help others as well. I would recommend that you test it on a smaller batch to test it out before converting your entire rom library TIP: If you would like to see the progress when it finishes or want to debug it, Press enter at the end of the line and add PAUSE under the code If you have any useful batch files or improvements to the ones here, dont hesitate to share them. Cheers

  12. I'm about ready to make the switch from a regular hard drive to an SSD for my Hyperspin system/Windows 7. I'm told that I have to setup the bios for the SSD as well as properly migrate/clone from the older hard drive. Can someone please talk me through the necessary steps so that I can do this correctly? I also have the 3.5" Hard Drive that i will swap out with the new SSD. The cables however will need to be updated as well. What cable adapters will I need to make this change? Please see attached images. http://s18.postimg.org/kl9dybpwp/IMG_3487.jpg http://s18.postimg.org/9bgo3dkvd/IMG_3488.jpg http://s18.postimg.org/4bj7vff8p/IMG_3490.jpg
  13. So I know this is specific, but it seems some other articles/posts run into a somewhat similar issue. I have Retroarch, and from the RocketLauncherUI I am able to successfully load all of the emulators I want to. However, from Hyperspin, only the most recently emulator loaded directly from Retroarch will successfully load, all others go to a black screen. Example. If I load Super Mario 64 from Retroarch using detect core it loads perfectly. I can then go into Hyperspin and load Goldeneye64 no problem. Now if I go to load Sonic the screen goes black. Back out, open Retroarch, detect core load Sonic. Loads fine. Go back to Hyperspin, load Lion King for Sega and all is well. Go to load Goldeneye64 and get a black screen. This can be repeated for other systems, so it seems it is dependent on the most recently loaded system. I have turned on settings per core and turned them off. Off it loads a window with an overflow of gibberish (likely from the bad core config). This goes for the settings in RocketLauncherUI and Retroarch. I can't figure it, but it is so close to working... Rather frustrating. Also, have the specific cores selected for each system in the system specific Retroarch configuration within RocketLauncherUI. Any help is appreciated. Windows 8.1.
