SuprVgeta Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I'm using the most recent version of Retroarch (1.2.2), and I use two PS4 controllers via bluetooth / xinput using InputMapper (formerly DS4Windows). When I configure the input settings within Retroarch to have player 1 be Xinput Controller 1, and player 2 to be Xinput Controller 2 - everything works fine. The problem is that I have to have both controllers connected at all times for it to read either one. If I boot up hyperspin/retroarch w/ only one controller on, it doesn't recognize it. Sometimes I only play 1 player games and don't need the 2nd controller to be on. In the past Retroarch use to be able to run w/ 1 controller just fine, and then if you turned on the 2nd controller, it would automatically detect it real-time and continue to work fine. Now if I configure the main retroarch.cfg to run w/ two controllers it will not detect any controller if I start Retroarch w/ only 1 controller connected, or disconnect a controller while running Retroarch. Is there something I'm missing in the settings? Thanks. Edit: after doing some research, it appears to be an issue w/ Windows 10 and exclusive mode availability not working correctly. What's happening is I have 'duplicate' controllers (wireless controller and an xbox 360 controller) for each controller. When one unplugs, it changes the port ID #. Apparently some insiders build of Windows 10 fixes the issue, but it's not an official update yet.
