Retroarch N64 not working why

Hi guys. I'm new to this.

I've set up retroarch with about 7 other systems and haven't had a problem as of yet.

But set up N64 and it doesn't load up

Any ideas why?

i had the same error and was to do with my roms been 7zip

The core file could be missing. Test retroarch outside rocketlaunch first and then save the configuration settings with the name "Nintendo 64.cfg". Check Simply Austin's retroarch youtube video for the files needed?

Yeah I've tried that as well.

windows come up with an error when I boot it up in retroarch. It shuts down the program on me

I worked out the problem

It was my graphics card driver.

I had 2 issues. One was I didn't have an up to date driver for my video card

And it didn't like my video card.

I was using an on board and then change to a graphics card and it worked!
