mange181
Hi and welcome! Im on a i3 win7 with 2 gb ram. Classic hard drive. Standard graphic card. Nes,snes mame, popcap, mastersystem and genesis megadrive works great. Systems above like n64 wii etc is no good. Hyperspin itself works ok. A bitt laggy especially now my arcade buttons via usb is connected. Ill recommend just start building you setup. Many themes out there dont give a hoot about running smooth on low spec pc's. You can tweek the themes och change them to simpler ones if you get laggy. If you havnt any leftover pc around and are about to get some hardware ill recommend rasperry pi2. Retropie is a good search word and there is memorycard images out there that have complete setups that works. Check project retrobution on facebook. If you have more specific questions ill be glad to help if possible.
JayC
I have two systems running everything up to psx (they can even run some ps2 games but I chose not to use them) with the cheap Intel G3258 processor and integrated graphics...but on one of them I have the ArcadeVGA card to get it working with a real arcade monitor.
