smpetty
I've been tweaking my Hyperspin setup for months. It looks great, highly polished and all my games run great with RL directing behind the scenes. But... and its a big problem... the stability and reliability is never that good. Wheels hang, endless random loops of wheel spinning, its always something. What strategies do you all use to prevent Hyperspin crashes and recover gracefully from the same? I run my system on the family room TV and would love to have it all work reliably with controllers as the only input. But inevitably the keyboard is needed to CTRL-ALT-DEL as the "qs" and even ALT- F4 (both are mapped to my controllers via XPadder) fail to get me back to a stable state. It takes the immersion and fun right out of it, and it makes it virtually impossible for anyone but me to run it for any length of time. Any ideas and comments are appreciated. My system is a dedicated "Emulatatron" running only Hyperspin, RL, and the emulators necessary to do the job. And Kodi :-). i7 4770K at stock 3.5GHz, 16 GB RAM, Asus Sabretooth Z87 motherboard, NVidia GTX 680, etc. Thanks in advance, Scott
