Trying to get Tangerine Oric working

I have a usable Oric  setup going with the Oricutron emulator but its pretty hit or miss.

 

I think that I would prefer to use the MESS (MAME) emulator.

 

Can anyone suggest the best way to go about this (or have a config)?

Hmm working OK for me. Are you using a good rom set - like the one posted today?

Adding tape based systems to MAME is tricky as MAME is focused on exact emulation. That means that you have to enter the MAME UI and start the tape, enter commands and stop the tape, etc.

Make sure you're using a good rom set. Remember there's a PM system

If there's some problems with the oricutron module - post over at the RL forums so we can sort them out [emoji4]

I downloaded the new rocketlauncher and managed to get updated ROMs and the game all appear to work now.

I have a few issues with still having a cursor being displayed in Oricutron and Hyperspin not working correctly with the new rocketlauncher but it looks good now.
