Map Multiple Controllers to P1

Hi Guys,

 

I have a question about multiple controllers assigned to one profile or button combination. Let me begin with the beginning. I always had HyperSpin in my arcade controlled with my arcade sticks (p1 and p2) and that works great. Also Xpadder profile switching works great. But since a month I have added 2 extra controllers (wireless Xbox controllers) for the sake of playing the games on the TV. I added a HDMI out to my arcade and can play on the couch now if many friends are visiting. I gave the wireless Xbox controllers (p3 and P4) the same button configuration as P1 and P2, so it will work as a substitute to the arcade controls. But it doesn’t work as planned.

If I play MAME it works

 

But if I want to play Sega model 2 or some other emulators it doesn’t work. I also tried plugging the USB cords of player 1 and 2 out, so the wireless Xbox controllers will be p1 and p2, but also doesn’t work. What I’ve read is that these emulators require a device ID or something. Does anybody know How I can fool my computer and give p3 and P1 the same ID And give p2 and P4 the same ID. So I can play with the arcade stick when I play on the arcade cabinet and with the wireless Xbox controllers when I’m on the couch?
