markofwolves Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Hello, i try many emulator and rom but all time i've this allert: cannont find rom (ROM NAME) with any provide extension. In Hyper HQ i set nes for NES, sfc for SNES, zip for MAME and i this is ok. Wher' s the problem? Thanks for the help.
markofwolves Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 If you're using RocketLauncher the extensions you have in HyperHQ are only used for displaying and filtering games in HyperSpin. It's possible that the emulator extensions are missing for that Emulator in RLUI, but 99% of the times I see this error it's because your rom names don't match the database or you have 7z enabled and the rom file inside the zip or 7z file doesn't match the database. The exception to that rule being Mame because you should never have 7z enabled for Mame. I'm new. I order 1TB Hyperspin with 150 emu, and beetwen HyperHQ and Rocketlaunher i prefer this because the menu si so dynamic, like new or at least I understand this . What do you think?
markofwolves Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 Let me start by saying I'm sorry that you bought that piece of junk. This site doesn't sell drives and whoever you bought it from has no affiliation with HyperSpin or this site at all.Your only option is to contact the seller that you bought the drive from and see if they can help you but I wouldn't expect them to. Nobody here will be able to help you because we don't know how the seller set things up and more importantly you don't know how it's setup or how things work. There's going to be a lot of things that don't work on that drive and it's probably full of outdated media and emulators. My advice would be to keep the roms and/or media and wipe the drive, then start over with a fresh install of HyperSpin and RocketLauncher. That's the response you'll get from just about everyone here. I know but my request is about my personal test with this emu. I find many problem and i try many time but now i'm tired and i buy. Sorry.
rastan Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 don't buy pre-configured HS drives. You'll learn how to solve most of the simple problems by actually re-installing hyperspin. It's a little funny that the FORUM is being used as tech support/customer service for people that purchased pre-configured drives.
