akalyvas87 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi I am new to emulation and from the research I have found Hyperspin is the way to go. My plan is to make a cabinet and to sink as much time as necessary setting it up to exactly what I want. Before I dive in I have one question that I am struggling to find an answer to. Is there a way to display roms from multiple emulators in Hyperspin, that will then of course launch the correct emulator and run the rom. Example: Can I have a list that has Sonic (sega genesis/megadrive) and Super Mario (snes) in it and can run them from there. So you don't select the console then the game you just select the game! Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a silly question.
Avar Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 You can. First you create your custom database however you want it. Then, in RocketLauncher, you choose the default emulator for the collection based on whichever emu runs the majority of your selected games. For the other games, go to your Games tab in RocketLauncher and select the "Alternate Emulators" sub tab. There you can select the correct emus for the remaining games individually.
akalyvas87 Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Absolutely perfect. Thanks for the reply.
