Game Launches but wheel and background stays

Hello, today is my first day trying hyperspin. After hours of work i have gotten to the point where i launch Super Mario 64 but the wheel/background do not go away. I can hear the menus and the game audio but  i cannot see the actual game.

I have a simular problem. I can select the Mame and I see the Games in the selection wheel  but if I press Enter, the Game dont start. I even dont here any sounds of the Game. I will setup the system with the keyboard first before I set it to the arcade system.

Yes I found my problem. I moved my newbie start system from an external Drive to the final HD. I also followed the great instructions from Austin and in the first videos he put the HL in the HS folder. But after the release of the neu HL/RL is now in an seperate folder. So I actually had two RL on the system. As most of the time the problem is between the ears....  If I change at the wrong place nothing will be change like I cut it twice and its still to short.

Now ist running with win10, no simulation mode and Win Defender is aktiv in all folders. But only Mame is setup now ( parts of it). Wow this will be al long way
