Hi all,

For the past week I have been trying to get hyperspin to work and I am almost at the stage of giving up.

I am running hyperspin 1.4, rocketlaunch and Nulldc for dreamcast, in rocket launch the roms are green and clicking the rocket launches the games ok but when I run hyperspin and try to launch the game I get " cannot find D:\Rocketlauncher\RocketlauncherUI\databases\segadreamcast\segadreamcast xkl"

I have watched guides, read forums and google searched the hell out of this.

Please help me.

did you setup up hyper spin as your standard front end?

under rocket launcher UI --> rocket launcher --> front ends you have to put hyper spin as your default and active fron end

ok, I started all this in one drive then stopped when I found the hyperspin/rocketlaunch folders have to be root folders.

I left this alone, went to my d drive and installed everything there fresh.

has win7 stored my old save file or something and this is why its looking in the wrong place?

Thank you for helping.

Also when I tried this at first in my E drive I had mame and Nintendo 64 and dreamcast that all seemed to run fine in rocketlaunch ie green roms and the rocket made the games work but when I started hyperspin the games were there but hitting enter did nothing.

im so stuck...

Did you setup rocketlauncher in the hyperspin ini file. This is a must do so hyperspin and rocketlauncher will Know each other

Because both are separate Programms

Hi,

Im having the exact same issue. Figured "oh then lets move the database folder into the place the system asks for i.e into the RocketLauncher folder. Then it works. Kinda annoying though when i make changes i always have to copy the databases folder over. Any idea why this is happening? I've set up HyperSpin 1.4 as my active frontend and connected HyperSpin and RocketLauncher to each other in settings.ini..
