Screen Saver

Hello

My windows screensaver does not start when HyperSpin FE is on . I have Windows XP SP2 and I want to use Windows Video Screen Saver with some videos and pictures (or any screensaver even blank screen) when no one is touching the controlls for a period of time. I tried it on 3 different XP machines with no luck. However, I did not have this problem with Mala FE.

Is there anything I can set-up/adjust in Windows (registry, .ini files etc) to make it work or maybe there is any other screensaver I should try? Or perhaps there is any way around this problem, like klling HS when not active, calling screensaver and and then running HS again?

HS disables your screensaver when its running. HS has its own built in attract mode to save your screen.

Could you explain how I can play my own videos (.avi) in attract mode in full screen ? I will greatly appreciate it.

Personally I love the screensaver mode in HS

So every minute or so if I let the game just sit there, the spinner starts up and spins at high speed and stops at a random table. Is this the screen saver? Can it be disabled or turned to a longer timeout?

Nevermind, I found it in the settings.ini ... what I said is happening is definitely the built in screen saver. You can enable or disable and you can set the timeout.

is there anyway to get PCs screen saver (that I have currently set to run Mame games randomly) to override HS? I'm running version 1.2 and HS's attract mode freezes randomly due to FLV video issue. I'm not really interested in redoing all my vids.
