Monitor surrounds in a cab

Hey guys, Ive just finished building up my cab but one thing that I just cant get right is the screen surrounds. I have purchased really thick paper, painted it black and stuck it on with double sided tape but it just doesnt look right plus one of the edges started peeling off already.... So I was just wondering what do you guys use/have used in your previous builds.

i used foam board for bezels in the past :}

also for the glass or plexi..

i masked the border to the size i needed.

then sprayed gloss black paint on the inside of glass, leaving a clear square for the monitor to shine thru :}
