Mame /w xpadder support?

Hey everyone! 

 

I've been trying to get Xpadder to work with Mame but i've been unable to do so ever since they swapped over to Raw input, it's not been an issue until now as i've been running two different versions of MAME to get around the issue but now im kinda getting stubborn enough to attempt to get to work.

 

The featured download of the Mame patch with Forced Direct Input should work with Xpadder? or does it force RAW input aswell? if it dosnt work then does anyone know the SRC of MAME well enough to know where i need to change it before compiling it to work with Xpadder?

I've been using Xpadder fine with Mame until 172....so I just went back to 171...
