mosaiclive
Sorry, another newbie question: how do you hide the hourglass icon that appears right before a game finishing loading on MAME? I'm setting up an arcade cabinet and want it to look as "real" as possible. The only thing I can find is something about changing the hourglass cursor to something small and hard to see. Is that the only option? If so, I'll have to figure out how to do that since I'm normally a Mac guy and don't really know much about tweaking Windows. I just updated from MAME .148 to .173 and I didn't have the hourglass thing before. Is it specific to the emulators or is more of a Windows thing? I changed from 'normal' MAME to UIFX also, FYI. DJQuad
In your Mouse Properties, customize your Busy cursor to a transparent or 1 pixel graphic.
mosaiclive
Okay, thanks. Sounds simple enough. I swear it wasn't showing before I upgraded but maybe I accidentally altered something in Windows. I'll try it out tonight. I just want to say "thanks" to everyone in this community here who makes learning this whole thing so much easier. You guys have saved me so much time and so many headaches- thanks!
