Multiple computers using one set of roms?

Hello all,

 

  I have been messing around with emulators for a little bit now, but I am finally ready to jump off into trying out hyperspin. I want to set it up on my computer and my sons for now and then I will start working on a cabinet later. I was wondering if you could have multiple computers running the same set of roms? I would have the emulators and hyperspin set up on both computers and have the roms shared over a wired gigabit home network. Just asking if it was possible and if so does anyone have a set up like this?

Nevermind. I had done a few searches before I wrote this, but after a little while I found what I was looking for.
