rastan Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I originally had a cps 1 & 2 rom set with a bunch of SNK stuff from another emulator but CPS 1, 2, and 3 are part of the mame rom set and I have an entire mame set with video snaps for everything that I have wheels for.. and my mame is set to wheels only.. anyways the problem is I noticed in my CPS 1 and 2 wheel... some of the games won't load their video snap.... the ones that have themes load their video fine.. but the games that don't have themes don't load their video snap.... it's weird because on my mame wheel if I scroll to the same games... the video snaps load up fine. Does anyone know what could be going on here? I haven't done any trial and error yet so I figured I'd just ask here first.
rastan Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 My CPS1 and 2 both had a default system theme and still had the issue. I noticed the rom/game in mame for example would be "whatever game name world 9400001" and the rom/game in cps 1or cps2 would be "whatever game name world" so I'm thinking it's just a xml issue.. cps 1 and cps 2 are using roms that apparently don't have a video snap and mame is using the roms that have the video snap.. I thought that clones used the parents video snaps (and I have that checked in hyperHQ). I just set it to themes only to hide the games that won't load the video snaps.. no big deal as the games still show in my mame wheel.
