nbick Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I'm trying to set my rom path under the emulator setting in HyperHQ, but it keeps crashing. I'm able to map the executable, but when I click on the rom path folder, it stops working and crashes. This goes for all emulators. Anyone have any suggestions? I attached 2 images. I'm a noob.
nbick Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Thanks for the help, I was able to at least point hyperhq emulator wheel to where my rom files are. The problem I'm having now is that I think I need a database and I don't really understand what all of this is about. I have no problem running my roms from rocketlauncher. The mame roms come up on the wheel in hyperspin, but when I click on a known working rom, I get this error message.
nbick Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Ok, So...I was being hasty and I have since figured out how to make a database. Now...is there a good tutorial for getting video previews and game wheel images? Everything as far as gameplay is going ok, just want to make it look nice.
nbick Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Well, I didn't have rocketlauncher mapped to a database.xml file, I got that working. I also figured out how to load themes. I just really don't want to pay emumovies for video previews. The only thing I have left to figure out is how to change the actual wheel's graphics. The game title "names of games" is still generic. I can't figure out how to change the graphics there.
