Disable Favorites

I have just hooked up my buttons and when i'm in  the mame wheel pressing Button 4 goes to the favorites option.  How can I turn this off?  Is it normally mapped to button 4?

 

If i load a game, pressing button 4 works normally.

I don't want other people to have access to making favorites.

Change the favorites key in HyperHQ under controls.

yeah I was going to say you normally assign those keys when you set HyperHQ, you must be using a pre-configured setup I guess.

thanks for the help. Not sure why it was defaulting to button 4. I did change it in HQ but it kept defaulting back.

reinstalled it. works fine now.
