Windows desktop visible between transitions

Hyperspin to mame works great. When done with the mame game, you exit the game and you can temporarily see the windows desktop as it transitions back to the Hyperspin wheel.

What you really see is a black square (where mame probably was) with the outlying corner of the desktop (as if the black square is at resolution X, the desktop is at resolution Y, and the Hyperspin is at resolutuion Z). ????

Any thoughts?

Try running HS at the same resolution as your desktop settings.

how do i do that? doesn't it default to the desktop size?

i see no option to set hyperspins resolution?
