bismark0610 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 After setting up the Atari 5200, I have run into an issue. When I select the 5200 system, the first game displays with the image and video. However, when I select any other game, the video and image will not display. Interestingly, when I first select the 5200, there is a slight lag so I can immediately select another game and its video and image will display. However, selecting another game has the same issue. Strangely enough, if I back out at go to another system, all the images and videos work fine, so this only seems to affect my Atari 5200 selections. Any ideas?
Dabil Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 So you have installed all the videos and artwork for the 5200? Not sure of your experience level. But typically if you have installed all the media, the only thing that can prevent it from showing is if it is named incorrectly. Are you using an official database? You didn't rename the database to match your roms did you. I have seen that before. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
bismark0610 Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Yeah, I have all the videos named to match the official XML database (1.1). I can back out of the 5200 menu, go back into it again, and quickly select another game (before the video of the defaulted select game starts) and its video and images will show. However, no video or image when I attempt to select another game. But if I back out of the 5200 menu and go back in, I can then select a different game and everything shows. Very weird and this only affect the 5200 menu.
bismark0610 Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 I think I have found a fix! Apparently I had the "wait for special" option selected. If I unselect this then everything works!

I was trying to blame it on a recent update of Rocketlauncher (nov 2016) but this seemed to be the fix. A thousand thanks for this!
