Gamepad doesn't work at startup

Hi, sorry for this newb question. I'm sure it's probably been answered somewhere else, but I've been going through lots of forums and haven't found a solution yet.

 

Whenever I launch Hyperspin, my Logitech f310 gamepad does not work. But if I alt-tab out of Hyperspin and then go back in, it works fine. I've reset the controls through HyperHQ multiple times with no success. 

 

Am I missing something simple? Please help. Thanks.

I use that same controller...

 

I set it up in HyperHQ and works fine in HS.. I also use xpadder with it because I wanted to have the start button ESC when held.

 

Try setting it up in HyperHQ again.... maybe check the input switch on the bottom of the controller as well.. you can check in from X to D for the input modes.
