snes9x stretched full scree?

hi everyone.

 

Having a problem having SNES9X staying as full screen stretched. it keeps loading in 4:3. Obviously that is closer to the original but my megadrive set up looks fine full screen so want the same for this.

 

I have opened SNES9x and keep selecting stretched full screen but it just goes fullscreen at 4:3 leaving the big great borders down the side.. I have tried deleting the Conf file, amending where it says "Keep aspect ratio" to false and that still doesn't work.

 

Any ideas?

 

If it helps, I'm getting same / similar blasted problems with PC Engine.. One minute its 4:3 full screen (with borders) next its windowed showing hyperspin behind.
