Nestopia not loading NES roms when Hyperspin is in full screen mode

I'm running the latest versions of Hyperspin, Rocket Launcher and Nestopia.  When running Hyperspin in window mode, Nestopia starts up and runs just fine.  However when I run Hyperspin in full window mode, I get the following:

 

Select NES game file from Hyperspin wheel

Screen goes black

Then screen returns back to the Hyperspin wheel without starting the NES game.

Pressing the Alt Tab key brings up all of the programs running including Nestopia. 

I can select Nestopia from the list and the game will then load and start. 

 

Has anyone else had this issue?  I didn't see anything in the forums when I did a search.
