Hyperspin changes cable setting in nullDC

SOLVED - Turns out all I had to do was add a couple lines into the nullDC .ini file specifically for any rom that uses a different cable setting (the default setting is "0"). e.g. -

[soul Calibur (USA)]

Cable = 1

I'm having a very specific problem with the nullDC cable setting. When I ran SoulCalibur straight through nullDC it started fine. Then I ran it in Hyperspin, and it gave me the error about having the wrong AV cable. When I started the game in nullDC directly again, it also gave me the cable error. So I changed the cable setting to the second option, hit reset, and it started again. But every time I run it through Hyperspin it resets. I'm thinking I need to change something in the AHK file, but I'm not sure what to change.

Anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?

Thanks!

Note: I'm a noob at all this. All my previous emulation experience has been just using MAME without a front end on a Mac.

Hello Radiofrog

I have the same problem with a specific game (Netto de Tennis). When I change the cable type from the emulator it works but when I use Hyperspin it resets and it doesn't work anymore. Where do I have to add the line [Netto De Tennis (Japan)] Cable = 1 in the ini file of the emulator?

thanks in advance for the reply
