shalamigri
I was having an issue with a game not showing up under the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Hyperspin. The name of the game was Q-bert 3 (USA).smc The database entry, the associated media files and rom were all named correctly. I had a hunch that the dash followed by the letter "Q" could have been causing the issue so I renamed the database entry, rom and all of the associated media files to Qbert 3 (USA) After doing that, the Game showed up and launched correctly. I must note that I was running this setup on an NVIDIA Shield TV Box. I just started using Hyperspin about a week ago so I'm quite new to all of this. I just wanted to point this just in case it was some kind of bug that may need to be addressed.
shalamigri
I'm sure you're right because I have other game titles that have dashes in them. All I know is that I fooled around with this issue for about an hour. I finally decided to remove the dash and the game showed up and I promise that's all I did. I then put the dash back in and again, the game did not show up. I'll give it a try on my Windows setup tonight to see what happens because my initial setup was on an Android NVIDIA Shield TV. EDIT - This didn't happen on my Windows 10 setup.
