Wanted to pop in and properly introduce myself.  I'm a long time gamer, but just of the classic consoles and arcade systems.  I've never really been a fan of PC gaming.  About a year ago my NES, SNES, and Atari collection grew a little to large to manage, so I boxed it up and shoved it into the attic.  Missing those games, about a month ago, I did my first Raspberry Pi build so I could play all my favorites again. The research on RetroPie led me here.  Since I've got a ton of woodworking experience, I've decided to make the jump and dedicate a PC for emulating and build a full on arcade cabinet for the basement.  

I fell in love with Hyperspin from the moment I saw it.  I'm a full on DIY guy so I'm looking forward to learning the front end and all the cool tools that are available for it.  

A BIG thank you in advance to all the forum members on here for all the questions that I no longer need to ask and the ones I still have yet to think of.
