Future Pinball

I have everything working on hyperspin for future pinball, but i cant seem to get any of the controls working except for the left and right nudge buttons, even if i remap them. any ideas?

So i figured it out. By setting values to administrator, it corrected the issue but now i have a new problem. Every time i exit the emulator i get a black screen and rocket launcher continues to run, preventing me from running another game through it. any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that's because FP is running as admin and RL can't close it, as it will be running under a normal user account. Running as admin causes problems like this and shouldn't be done. Every program in the chain would have to be run as admin and that isn't viable.

As for keys - have you set these in FP?

the problem is that i cannot properly map the controls, nor do i have sound unless i give it admin access, rendering the whole pack useless.... i've mapped the controls multiple ways in FP without any luck, the only fuctions that work are the left and right nudge no matter how i map them.

That's not true, there are some cases in which admin privileges are necessary. All that needs to be done is set RocketLauncher.exe and HyperSpin.exe (probably also RocketLauncherUI.exe) to run as admin and you don't have to worry about it being an issue with anything else.

Honestly I've never needed it. I know for sure that FP works fine without it.

But haven't you just set the keys you want in FP for the various controls?

What are you trying to map them too?

im running this on windows 7, changing rl and hs to admin access corrected the problem. Sound, Controls, and Exit run smoothly now. Thanks for your help!
