drudru21 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I received a 4TB internal hard drive as a gift and set it up in a new PC to connect to an iPac 4 in my arcade cabinet. I followed the install instructions the best I could but I may have made mistakes. I'm hoping for solutions to the following issues: 1. Hyperspin boots fine but neither the iPac 4, keyboard, or Xbox controller work when it is running. 2. Hyperspin boots at startup but I'd like to be able to stop it so that I can address possible issues with my install, how do I do that? 3. While installing the required programs for Windows 7 64bit, I was unable to install 2015 c++ 86. I thought it installed the first time but I may have been directed to restart my computer after that install, but rather than restart I continued with the rest of my downloads. Could this have caused a problem? 4. If I screwed something up irreversibly, is there a way to undo everything I did and start over? Thank you so much for your help! I've hit a wall and can't go forward without help.
Avar Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Also, all pre-mades are essentially scams that will require way more effort to fix than it would take to build your own. No matter how much effort you put into one of those, they'll never fully work properly.
rastan Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 you'll save more time as well as less headaches by just downloading a copy of hyperspin for free and setting it up on your own which is pretty straight forward and easy and copying whatever from that drive (media, roms, emulators) and manually adding them to your fresh/clean install of hyperspin.. it's going to take time either way but trust us... it's better than trying to reverse engineer the mess on that drive.
