Saving\Loading State with Retroarch

Hi Everyone,

I noticed that when I perform a save state (F2) for a retroarch game the .state file is placed in the temp folder location. This is the same location where zipped files are extracted to. Everything works fine if I tell RL not to delete anything in the TEMP folder.

The issue comes up with when you get to games that are much much larger. If I want to use the benefit of loading and saving state I have to tell RL not to delete the TEMP files and have to delete the extracted games manually.

Is there some option in RL or Retroarch that am missing to get around this?

Thanks,

Perhaps is there a way to fix that by changing the directory the save states are stored. Have you tried to do that??

For that reason (and slower loading times too), i don't like using z7 or zipped roms. I use everything uncompressed.
