TpsKevin
Hi, I'm a virgin to posting in any forum of any kind so please forgive me if I posted anything incorrectly or offensive. Before I start I just want to say thank you to all of the great people on this site for all of the information and resources and of course the creation of this killer Front end! I'm looking for help setting up some new cabs I'm building. I built a cab about ten years ago with hyperspin ( an aircraft carrier , 4 player with trackball, spinner, rotaries, top fire blah, blah, blah). I'm hoping for someone local to Philly but that may not be necessary. I know I can do this myself but I've been finishing my basement for the last year and a half and I don't want it to be another year and a half before this gets done. I have dismantled the old cab and I am building five new cabs to replace it: 4 player (two rotaries, dynamic marquee, 16:9 bezels, light guns, game pads) DK (ultra stick 360) Centipede Smash TV Tron (opinions on if this should be an analog joystick for flight type games welcome) No driving game yet, I may save that one to muddle through in retirement, that should be about 2037 I have all of the components/computers and have started on the cabinets (all sides cut) I figure a couple of weeks and The cabs should be ready for paint. What I need help with is the software side. Setup of Hyperspin, Emus, themes, 16:9 bezel, ultrastick switching for 2/4/8/analog modes per game type, list creation for game control types specific to controls on the cab, etc.... what I have to offer: Use of a HP designjet 5000 to print whatever game art you need (up to 42" wide, adhesive backed vinyl or any other UV printable material) cold laminator (up to 38" wide) a bunch of left over components joysticks (including 2 optical rotaries, magstik plus, top fire) and Happ buttons in various colors. woodworking skills and equipment, not a ton of either, but enough to build a nice cab if you're interested. Photoshop skills even less than my woodworking skills but enough to make some decent cab art. Let me know if you are interested and thanks again to everyone here. Just as a teaser I added pics of the left side art for the 4 player printed/laminated and ready to install.
