Rom Titles

Hello, I have a rom set for Mame 0.183, problem is when I added media and art for titles and video, it recognized only some of the roms but not all, this is because they are named differently, my question is what is the best and FASTEST way of renaming/fixing the roms? Thanks.

that's normally impossible for mame.. mame has a universal naming scheme... all mame stuff should be the same name! but for whatever reason you have media which has different names... and now that I think of it... I remember seeing mame media out there with the media named for the actual games and not for the mame rom names. try fat match

Thank you for your reply, I am going to try fat match as you suggested. I got my media from EmuMovies, some artwork and videos load for some ROMS but barely any compared to the amount of ROMS I have.

I know the download area on hyperspin has one of the best mame default game wheels. mame is probably best setup as wheels only so only the games with wheels show up and also set to parents only... then maybe setup a second mame wheel that is set to show everything. I think I have three mame wheels setup... one is for all the games with themes.. another is for my favortie games (wheels and themes) and the last one is set to show everything.
