Tankstick player 2 question...

Hey guys! I got a Tankstick today and it's working great, minus one issue. Player two will not work on the second player controls. I have them mapped to use the second player, but whenever it is the 2p turn, the controls only work on the 1p side. Clearly I've missed something! Anyone have an idea?

Actually, I may have answered my own question. It seems like games that only had 1 stick in the arcade work the same way with the tankstick, because I tried NBA Jam and it worked just fine. Is there any way to bypass this for the old school games so that both sticks can be used?
