The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Can't Load Sub Wheels

I have a strange issue right now.  Last i knew i had a working installation of HyperSpin.  Over the past few months i have been focusing on a LaunchBox implementation.  I don't think I have done anything to my HyperSpin folder but when I checked it today, for some reason my sub wheels won't load.

HyperSpin loads fine, but when I choose one of the consoles, Nintendo 64 for example, its wheel won't load.  Just comes right back to the main menu wheel.  It does it for any of the consoles I select.

I have gone through every setting in HyperHQ and examined every INI file that appears relevant.  Not sure whats going on.  Anyone seen this before?

Can't understand why the other wheels don't work seeing the main menu wheel (that works) is in the same folder structure.

Thanks for replying.

I took a peek at my rom paths are all set as relative paths, i.e.:  ..\ROMs\Atari 2600\

When i changed it to the full path, H:\ROMs\Atari 2600\, it worked.

I don't understand.  I swear it worked before.

Weird. Glad that got you up and running at least. Maybe something changed at some point. In the past I've always just used Wheels Only and pruned my wheel set to match my rom set when I wanted to use that feature but moving forward, the new system should be able to do a better job of handling that sort of thing :D

What is this "new system" you speak of?  Are we talkin HyperSpin 1.5 or 2.0?  I saw something about the media update effort for HD, 2k, 4k, etc.  Is there going to be a new HyperSpin release?  Is there anywhere I can read about it?  Thanks again!
