Rom extentions

sorry for the newbie question....but what in the lord's name is a rom extension? I ran all the rename tools and the system found many of my ROMS. However, they are still in red on the audit list in RL. I don't have the ROM extensions box filled in on the emulator section as I do not know what it is. I am on day 2 of set-up. I have put in some serious time...(8 hours) just to get here. Worked around issues quite a bit. I don't like to quit and I would love to see a working NES game. But I'm starting to think I bit off more than I can chew.:morning2::unknown:

Thanks

Clayton

Extension is the three letters after the period in a rom name eg <Game Name>.zip or .nes or .lnx etc etc.

So then I all would have to enter in is .nes as that is what is listed on my ROMS? I see in the tutorial you have 7z/zip/nes/fds. I am assuming that is you specific rom extension.

Yeah but after you've changed Global Emulators (Example).ini to Global Emulators.ini all of those fields should already be populated. If not, you probably named it Global Emulators.ini.ini or have a typo in the name.

Glad you got it working :D
