ricardcs Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Hi, I'm experimenting a very strange issue using hyperspin. When hyperspin plays demo videos (flv arcade games), the cpu temperature raises until the pc shutdown. If I run flv videos using vlc the temperature doesn't increase. Is it possible to change the default video player of hypersipin? Regards,
ricardcs Posted June 4, 2017 Author Posted June 4, 2017 Hello Avar, I'm using 1.4.0.0 The problem is independent of my graphics card. I've tried with the integrated graphics card and with a dedicated one. The problem appears in both scenarios. Thanks for your help!
Avar Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Weird. Never seen this. What card are you using? And how old are your video snaps? Same thing happen if you get brand new snaps?
ricardcs Posted June 4, 2017 Author Posted June 4, 2017 Hi Avar, Trying vlc with the hyperspin intro (loop mode) and the CPU temp has increased. Sorry! It's not an hyperspin problem. It 's a thermal problem. Excuse me, I've tried with short flv videos and CPU temp didn't increase. With a larger video the problem appears. Thanks for your help and time.
Avar Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 No problem! Sorry to hear you're having the issue, regardless. Does this happen with any video? Or only your emulation preview videos? Older videos were encoded differently so you can try testing with a newly uploaded video from EmuMovies and seeing if it still happens.
